Founded in 1997, Biagiotti Progetto Arte in Florence started its journey as art space devoted to contemporary art with the aim to promote young art talents in contemporary art. That’s why first it was just a gallery and then in 2012, it has expanded as a non-profit private foundation in the name of Biagiotti Progetto Arte Foundation.
The gallery organizes several solo and group exhibitions of both Italian as well as foreign artists where you will find rich and wide-ranging artworks of painting, photographic works, street art, performance, video and installation. The foundation is conducting research on art in order to promote young talents in the scenario of cultural institutions and museums. That’s why the foundation with the collaboration of several institutions in Italy and abroad is going ahead. Some of the institutions are the E. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum, Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Peekskill, New York, Museum of Art and Design in New York, the Macro Museum in Rome and Center for Contemporary Art “Luigi Pecci” in Prato and so on. The foundation also organizes several contemporary art exhibitions and public cultural events like critics and curators of art, lectures, meeting and so on.
