Good food that is made greater when seated by the window. If you are a tourist walking by Ponte Vecchio or a student who stumbled in, there is a choice of sea food to delve in – sea bass, tune, salmon, octopus, clam, swordfish, oyster, etc.
While the regulars in Italy, like pasta, gnocchi, ravioli, and risotto are also served here, the food is cooked to perfection which makes the price seem “worth it”. Prosecco is complementary and the rare beef tenderloin with rocket and parmesan salad will hit your senses. For wine to go with your food there’s plenty to choose from.
It is filled with North Americans mostly and hence the waiters can explain the menu is English, if required.
Golden View also has wine tasting menu for those who want to taste Tuscan wine without having to leave Florence. Cheese, water, olives and focaccia accompany all wine tasting. The cellar can be reserved for private meetings with extra charges. There are the basic and simple Tuscan varieties, the Sangiovese, the Terroir and Brunello to choose from.
