Why do you do what you do? I do what I do because I love creating worlds and telling stories, and my work shows mostly the fantastical side of illustrations and thats what I love. To lose yourself in an image or a film is what I want to achieve with my work.
Could you describe your style and how it developed? I think my style is still developing, right now its very diverse I’m exploring several styles and try to find what works best for me. If I had to describe it now it would probably be a bit gritty and raw.
Where do you get inspiration from? I watch a lot of movies and look a lot at other peoples work but I always try to get more inspiration form the real world, even though there is not much to see out of my window from time to time I always tend to look outside and try and see new things. I also have a lot of books from famous photographers where I get a lot of inspiation from.
What is the best part about working within the creative industries? The fact that something is in your head as an idea and then you work on it and the next moment its realised and you actually see the result. I also like that I work a lot if like minded people and to create with others is very enjoyable.
What do you wish you knew about your business before you got started? I haven’t been working that long in the business that I have a lot of expierence but if I have to come up with something now it will probably be that I wish I knew better how to deal with clients.
Has your style develop/change over the time being active? If yes, how? It has definitly developed and it still is.
Who would you like to work with? One of my heroes are John Howe and Alan Lee, amazing conceptual artist and I would very much like to meet them and come up with designs with them. Theres also an artist called Peter Han who is also great in concept art. And also a hero of mine is Christopher Nolan, I would very much like to work on his movies. So many more to mention.
What is your idea of success? That idea that you are with your friends and somebody shows some work of an artist to you on their phones or computer and then you share that with other people. That people know your work and share it with others. That idea would be great if people do that with your work.
Is there a message that you are trying to portray through your work? Not really, I think I still need to find that out.
Do you believe it is important to raise artistic awareness in your country? I think the awareness is there but a lof of times not the appreciation. I hate shallowness in people, that they dismiss something immediately if they don’t like something and not at least appreciate it a little bit.
In your opinion, how important is it to culturally educate through art? I think its very important, art is a very wide concept so you can teach it through many different perspectives.
