Why do you do what you do?I have wanted to pursue acting since I was a child. I just love movies and would make a lot of funny video’s with my friends when I was younger. We just loved doing characters and its just something I remember always loved doing.
Could you describe your style and how it developed?I think my style… I don’t really know hoe to describe it. I just love to wear different kinds of stuff. But I do like to dress up a bit now a day. But I think all black would be a style that I like the most. Its easy casual but also classy. You can just do anything with it.
Where do you get inspiration from? Well mostly… Instagram and just when I’m on clothing sites I just browse a little through the style section. Also my friends are into fashion and they always look really nice.
What is the best part about working within the creative industries? I think the fact that I am able to be myself. That its actually really boring if you just go along with the croud and don’t have a voice. The creative industries is basically all about being creative and letting out what you feel is the only way people will be able to see how you see the world and how you want to change it. A lot can be done just by visual aids and words, but its the passion behind it that comes from you what attracts people to see what’s going on. I really like that everyone in the creative industries has their own voice and can just see anything and use it as an inspiration.
What do you wish you knew about your business before you got started? That it actually takes more work than I imagined. It is way harder then it looks and I think people don’t realize how much it takes. I love acting and it really is my passion, so I think it’s worth all the hard work. Yet when you just start doing it professionally it triggers loads of different skills which make acting on the screen so intens and beautiful to look at.
Has your style develop/change over the time being active? If yes, how? I think it has yes, you just find more ways in how you want people to see you and over the years you develop who you really are. So yes, my style has changed.
Who would you like to work with? Oh jeez, I think … Angelia Jolie. I love her acting and she’s so good. I think she could teach me loads of stuff about acting and seeing her in action would simply be amazing.
What is your idea of success? My idea of success would definitely be doing something you love. Make a good buck out of it is one thing. But being passionate about something and able to have the heart and the guts to pursue it (especially in the creative industries) is something not everyone can and is able to do.
Do you believe it is important to raise artistic awareness in your country? I do think it is important, because I think it is quite looked down upon.
In your opinion, how important is it to culturally educate through art? For me it is really important.. I mean, it’s putting things in a different perspective and light and I think that it could be really good for a lot of people.
