World’s art treasure house

Victoria and Albert Museum or affectionately called as the V&A is one of the most leading museums of art and design in the world. The museum greatly enriches the people’s lives by promoting different designer practices and increasing understanding, knowledge and enjoyment in the world of design. Within its collection the visitors become always dumbstruck to experience its great collections over 3000 years of artifacts from several richest cultures of the world.

In its permanent collections of ceramics and furniture, paintings, metalwork, photographs, sculpture, prints, textiles, fashion and glass works, the visitors are amazed to explore its more than 43,000 images and 27.000 works. The museum is an excellent place for the family outing as there are a wide ranging free events and exciting activities and lots of workshops for the age group between 11 years to 18 years. Within the campus of this gigantic museum, there are many parts such as The Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green and the stores and archives at Blythe House and Kensington Olympia.
